Nature Video

Below are some nature video clips I captured during my photoshoots. Scenes from the lives of our feathered and furry friends.

Nature video European Roller

European Roller is also the only species of the Coraciidae family to live in France. It is a brightly colored bird. First of all, the plumage of the European Roller is distinctive, with its turquoise-blue coloration on the underside of the body and head, contrasting with the reddish-brown coat. The primary flight feathers are black. It has a thick, black beak.
This bird is unique and unmistakable.

Nature video Red Fox

Red Fox is present in the Camargue; this one was on the prowl and would have happily eaten a duck for breakfast. However, if this one was prepared to get its paws wet, its attempt was doomed to failure.

Nature video Greater flamingo

These magnificent birds perform a veritable choreography, four or five movements that they repeat in a loop. They raise their heads, spread their wings, and show off their magnificent colors. This parade lasts for several months, from December to February-March. The purpose of this courtship is to allow the flamingos to find their partner for the coming season. Indeed, each year the flamingos form a different couple, but they remain faithful throughout the year.

Nature video Pied Avocet

Pied Avocet truly deserves its name and deserves its elegant designation. This large wader is easily recognizable with its thin, upward-curved black beak, its white plumage dotted with black spots, its blue-grey legs, and its webbed feet. Both sexes are similar. Pied avocets are gregarious birds. It is very common to see them in groups, on the ground or in flight during migrations.
